Joyce Krishna was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria and of the High Court of Australia in 2017. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of New England, NSW. She completed her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the College of Law in VIC. Joyce is an Associate at AFL Solicitors and practises exclusively in family law. Joyce is committed to continuous learning and is currently completing her Master of Applied Law (Family Law) at the College of Law in VIC. Prior to joining AFL Solicitors,  Joyce volunteered for the Community Legal Centre at South-East Monash Legal Service Inc to victims of crime and sexual assault.

Joyce advises on a wide range of family law litigation matters arising from the breakdown of a marriage or relationship including, divorce, financial and property settlements including division of assets, complex children and parenting matters, Magellan and Evatt list matters, relocation, recovery orders, binding financial agreements and enforcement proceedings. She regularly represents clients in Court and at mediation and has had conduct of matters from beginning through to their conclusion at final hearings. This is why she can provide relevant and effective advice and guide you through all stages of your family law matter.

Joyce is committed to her clients and strives to assist them in reaching a solution in an amicable way. Joyce guides clients experiencing emotionally charged and high conflict environments in complex cases, ensuring that they are supported and empowered.

In addition to her legal studies, Joyce holds a Bachelor of Health Science in Naturopathy. She is fluent in Hindi (Fijian Indian).

Beyond her legal career, Joyce is an avid traveller and has travelled to over 30 countries. She also enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, shopping, and caring for her three beloved cats.
